AGR-206: Food, Nutrition and Absorption

This research group was founded in 1990 and is made up of researchers belonging to the physiology department of the pharmacy faculty, they are also members of the "José Mataix" INTYA of the UGR. In general lines, the group carries out basic and applied research in the field of food, nutrition and food technology.

In its 20 years of existence, the group has carried out 11 research projects funded on the basis of public competition, and have collaborated in contracts with companies in the agro-food sector and in research agreements with the Ministry of Environment of the Andalusian Regional Government.

Research carried out in the last decade has led to numerous publications in magazines which are included in the Journal Citation Reports, as well as communications to national and international congresses
