TEP-239: Water management and treatment technologies

The Water Management and Treatment Technologies research group is made up of researchers from the Civil Engineering Department, the Construction Engineering and Engineering Projects Department, the Structural Mechanics and Hydraulic Engineering Department, and the Water Institute, all from the University of Granada, forming a multidisciplinary group whose common nexus is water as a resource and as a risk, covering aspects relating to hydraulics, hydrology and the development of treatment technologies.

This is a young group, but one whose members have ample research experience, including various projects in areas such as using membrane technology in water treatment, applying biological processes to water treatment, developing numerical application models in hydrodynamic problems of interest in hydraulic engineering, such as estuary, marshland and river dynamics, and models of sediment transport in the atmosphere and in water.
