The research group SEJ-133 International and European Legal Studies, consolidated by the Junta de Andalucía since 1988, is framed in the Department of Public International Law and International Relations of the University of Granada. This Research Group is considered a high quality Group, that is, it reaches a total of 25 possible points according to the parameters currently managed by the Junta de Andalucía.

Among the indicators that show the quality of the team of professors that make up the Research Group are the publication of works in scientific journals of recognized prestige and international and national diffusion, participation in international conferences as important as the Congress of the Fédération International de Droit Européen, the European Society of International Law or the Society of International Economic Law. In addition, its members form part of the Boards of Directors and the Editorial Boards of high-impact scientific journals.

On the other hand, these researchers have also developed professional activity or internships in international institutions and organizations such as: the Court of Justice of the European Communities in Luxembourg, Council of Europe in Strasbourg, Commission of the European Union in Brussels, Secretariat of the WTO in Geneva, OECD Secretariat in Paris, European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht or Geneva Center for Security Policy, in Geneva.
Finally, the members of the Group have also been advisers or have been consulted as experts and technicians by public and private institutions such as: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Interior; National Evaluation and Prospective Agency, Andalusian Evaluation Agency, Alternativas Foundation, etc.

- Adaptation of the international and European legal framework to globalization.
- Borders, foreigners and international and European judicial cooperation.
- Foreign policies of Spain and the European Union.
- Conflict resolution.
