SEJ-133: International and European Legal Studies
The SEJ-133 Research Group, “International and European Legal Studies”, was consolidated by the Autonomous Government of Andalusia in 1988 and forms part of the International Public Law and International Relations Department of the University of Granada. This research group is considered a high-quality group as it scores all possible 25 points on the parameters currently used by the Autonomous Government of Andalusia.
Indicators of the high calibre of the group’s members include being published in renowned and prestigious international and national scientific journals, and participating in major international conferences such as the Congress de la Fédération International de Droit Européen, the European Society of International Law and the Society of International Economic Law. Group members also sit on the board of directors and editorial boards of various significant scientific journals.
The group’s researchers have also worked with or spent time at international institutions and organisations such as the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg, the European Council in Strasbourg, the European Commission in Brussels, the WTO Secretariat in Geneva, the OECD Secretariat in Paris, the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy.
Finally, the group members have also acted as advisers or have been consulted as experts and specialists by public and private institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Interior, the National Evaluation and Foresight Agency, the Andalusian Evaluation Agency, Fundación Alternativas, etc.
