FQM-183: Differential equations
The research group has an accumulated experience of almost 30 years in the field of dynamic systems and equations. The dynamic systems theory studies the long-term evolution of processes described either by differential equations (ordinary or partial) or by discrete transformations. In this context, the group’s objective is to provide qualitative analysis of certain differential equations that are used as models in applied sciences such as physics and biology. This study is carried out by using the most imaginative combination possible of general mathematical tools and methods of varying origin: non-linear analysis, geometry or topology with specific techniques in dynamic systems.
