Social challenges, conflicts and resilience in resource management in Africa

Analysis of global and local challenges, their impact on African societies and adaptation strategies in resource management, especially fishery resources in Senegal, Gambia and Guinea Bissau. What local, inter-community and transnational conflicts appear in defense of livelihoods, traditional resource management and the right to fish? Appreciation of the multiple realities of fishermen's societies, both local and migrant, their practices, their traditional knowledge and their sociocultural dynamics, especially of women, which may not respond to the applied fisheries management policies.
