Lexical typology and computational lexicology: The study of a language’s lexicon and the compared study of the lexicons of different languages has benefited from the development of computational sciences. Tasks that previously required a considerable investment of time, or that simply could not be done, have since become possible thanks to the integration of databases and analysis applications.
