Corporeal cognition

Within this line they investigate the embodied, extended and situated character of the human mind. Central questions are: What roles do the main contexts of interaction - body, language, group and culture - play in thinking? How can we think about abstract concepts such as time, numbers, power, and right and wrong? How does communication emerge in multimodal interaction between interlocutors? How does culture and education provide material scaffolding for thinking? For this we conducted intra- and cross-cultural studies using a variety of behavioural techniques, as well as fMRI and TMS.
