The patent describes a method for synthesising and purifying monochloride, dichloride and trichloride derivatives of bisphenol A. The method consists of chlorinating bisphenol A and using chromatography to separate the compounds. Standards are identified unequivocally, with a purity of more than 99.99%. The availability of these compounds is of great interest to chemical, physicochemical and toxicological analysis and control laboratories in determining these compounds in samples of environmental, food, industrial-clinical and legal interest.
