Energy transfer in quantum systems

Analysis of heat and energy transfer in microscopic systems. The aim is to understand the high performance of systems involving quantum energy transfer, such as photosynthetic complexes, and apply this knowledge to the development of new highly energetically efficient metamaterials such as carbon nanocables and nanotubes.
