Development of new synthetic methodologies
Since its creation, the group has developed this major line of research through which it has perfected numerous methodologies which are of great value for organic synthesis. Some examples include:
- New methods for regioselective dehydration of tertiary alcohols and the elimination of tertiary esters.
- Methods for obtaining allyl iodides.
- New methods for preparing tertiary esters.
- New ozone system applications - lead tetraacetate.
- New methods for enantioselective synthesis of alpha- hydroxycarbonylic compounds.
