FQM-118 ECsens: Electronic and Chemical Sensing Solutions

ECens multidisciplinary research team formed in 2000 by researchers from the Department of Analytical Chemistry, the Department of Electronics and Computer Technology of the University of Granada and the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. It is made up of graduates, engineers and PhDs in Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Science, as well as laboratory technicians specialising in Chemistry and Graphic Arts.

The objective of the group is the design, development and manufacture of sensors and portable electronic instrumentation for environmental, biomedical, food and toxicological analysis, among other areas.

Its main lines of research are the following:

- Development of rapid analysis systems.

- Development of optical electronic languages.

- Intelligent packaging.

- Developments for the dosimetry of clinical radiotherapy treatments.

- Development of instrumented insoles that include sensors to obtain information about the way of walking, running, etc. and the different effects on the body.

- Development of an electronic measurement platform that can be configured in real time.
