Focus on aspects of the development process that can contribute to making smart environments (such as smart buildings, unmanned vehicles, remote monitoring of patients and vulnerable people, ...) safer and more reliable. Provide methodologies that can increase user confidence in these developments. Adaptation of technology to people, and not the other way around.
