This research group has developed, over the last 10 years, simulation tools for electronic devices and nanoelectronics, based on the resolution of Poisson-Schroedinger equations and the transport equation. This work has led to the group becoming a European leader in the simulation of semiconductor devices. The research group has a nanotechnology laboratory whose facilities are, probably, one of the most advanced laboratories for electrical and structural characterisation of nanoelectronic devices in Spain. Moreover, some of the equipment and measurement robots are the only ones in the public sphere in the entire continent
