TIC-210: Computational intelligence

This research group has the principal objective of researching the development of computational systems that are in the vanguard of artificial intelligence.

Some of the investigations carried out by the research group are: the development of conversational systems that interact with the user using natural language; understanding of texts expressed in natural language; intelligent searching of information on the Internet; and the automatic learning of actuation protocols for decision making. For these developments, the group uses and researches computational intelligence techniques, such as fuzzy logic, probabilistic reasoning, case-based reasoning, bio-inspired algorithms, neural networks and support vector machines.
