TIC-167: Computer graphics and virtual reality
The research group TIC-167: Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality aims to promote and support research in Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality. It is integrated into the Information and Communication Technologies Research Center of the University of Granada (CITIC-UGR) and has a Virtual Reality Laboratory in which it has virtual reality systems, haptic interaction devices and scanners 3D.
Among others, they offer 3D digitization services, creation of virtual worlds, immersive visualization and development of interactive graphic software and evaluation and analysis software to the University of Granada, other public organizations and private companies.
His main lines of research are the following:

- 3D information systems for heritage.
- 3D digitization and documentation of historical heritage.
- Representation and Visualization of 3D models for medical applications.
- Expressive visualization.
- Algorithms for geographic information systems.
- GPU programming.
- Analysis and simulation.
