TIC-131: Granada Electromagnetism (GEG)

This research group works on computer simulation of electromagnetic problems. The range of application in this line covers from the design of communication systems (waveguides, fibre optics, antennae and radar) to electromagnetic compatibility problems, passing through the study of biological effects of the electromagnetic field and the medical and industrial applications of microwaves. Furthermore, the group also researches the application of earth penetrating radar or georadar in different spheres such as the optimisation of the exploitation of quarries, the optimisation of resources in archaeological excavations, and the study of the preservation of buildings of architectural interest
