TEP-190: Engineering and infrastructures
The research group TEP-190: Engineering and infrastructures is made up of a group of professors from the Higher Technical School of Engineering of Roads, Canals and Ports of the University of Granada who carry out their research activity in the field of structural engineering. It is made up of Doctors Civil Engineers and Construction and Exact Sciences and Civil Engineers.
He is dedicated to research in structural concrete, seismic engineering, metallic structures and sustainable construction. The investigations carried out have been both theoretical and experimental, having developed test campaigns, both in the laboratory and in the field, of structural elements of concrete and steel. In turn, this group has been a pioneer in the study of the use of natural light for lighting road tunnels.
The main lines of research are the following:
- Sustainable construction.
- Durability of structures.
- Tension and compression structures.
- Concrete and structural steel.
- Lighting in road tunnels.
- Seismic engineering.
