iPMLab: Laboratory for Intelligent Prognostics and Cyber-Physical Structural Systems
The iPMLab is a research group of the UGR founded at the end of 2019 by Profs. Manuel Chiachío Ruano and Juan Chiachío Ruano within the Andalusian Institute of Data Science and Computational Intelligence (DIH-DaSCI Innovation Hub). It is the group responsible for the research line "Industry 4.0, Predictive Maintenance and Digital Twins" of DaSCI. Our group currently has 14 active members, 5 PhDs, and is registered as a TEP-1001 group according to the Junta de Andalucía.
Lines of research:
- Digital Twin Technology for physical assets (structures)
- Predictive Maintenance/Maintenance 4.0
- Structural damage diagnosis through the fusion of sensor data with models using Bayesian methods.
- Prognostics and Structural Health Management (PHM)
- Computational statistics and algorithms for structural health diagnosis (SHM) and prognosis (PHM)
- Structural health monitoring through aerial robots
