Analysis of tourist destinations and strategic planning of sustainable local development processes in Latin American territories (Mexico) and Spain. The focus is on analyzing the trends of public and private intervention in protected natural spaces, designing competitive tourism products for the conservation (sustainable use) of tourist destinations, measuring the capacity for welcoming tourism in the territory and developing participatory strategies for the integration of sustainable tourism in the local development of rural and urban spaces, putting in value the natural, cultural and historical-monumental heritage.
