The transformations of economic systems - in production, finance, markets, consumption ... - continue to be today, in our globalized world, a driving force behind social transformations. Our group pays special attention to these changes, mainly in the labor markets, the incidence of immigration in them, the role that training plays in employment, the systems of industrial relations between the various economic agents and consumption. On the other hand, professions and occupations continue to be decisive in the social position occupied by social agents in social stratification and inequality.
