The research group SEJ-106: Andalusia, the European Union and the Social State was created with the aim of studying the different areas of work from a multilevel perspective:
a) Interactions between the Autonomous State, the Autonomous Community of Andalusia and the European Union.
b) The development of a system for the protection of social rights in the Autonomous Communities and social rights in the autonomy of Andalusia.
c) The right to the environment and current Constitutionalism in the information society and within the European Union within the framework of globalization.

His lines of research are the following:

- Current Constitutionalism in a digital and risk society.
- Social networks and democracy.
- European Pillar of Social Rights.
