Temporalidad y cronología. Nuevas perspectivas en el estudio de las dataciones radiocarbónicas
Radiometric dating has become the main tool in addressing the absolute chronology of past materiality. In the last few decades, the enormous progress made by this technique has allowed for ever greater precision in dating, which has led to its rapid generalisation in research programmes, with their number multiplying exponentially.
This undoubtedly positive development has led to the parallel development of statistical techniques that allow the analysis of complex dating series with which it is possible to create different chronological models (sum of probabilities, analysis of the significance of chronological differences, Bayesian models, etc.).
