This line of research is a continuation of the line of research on environmental history initiated more than 20 years ago, with a focus on the management of common goods, socio-environmental conflicts and the enhancement of biocultural heritage. This line of research is supported by the Saberes Instituyentes Network, which brings together CIECO-UNAM, Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur (Mexico), Universidad Veracruzana (Mexico), Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, Universidad del CAUCA (Colombia) and SUNY-Old Westbury in New York (USA).
