The group seeks better understanding of the characteristics and indicators of performance in interactive sports from both a quantitative and a qualitative point of view. These studies are essential as a way to detect real training needs and thus act as a suitable guide for the sports training process. This is research with great environmental importance as it studies the sports phenomenon as it occurs in reality without any intervention or manipulation of the variables being studied, and as such is to a large extent based on observation of sports behaviour. This line of research is aimed at sports analysts, for analysing sports performance by focusing attention on the keys of team performance, and at trainers to help them design a better learning process and further training.
