The Reading and Writing in Spanish research group - LEE (Lectura y Escritura en Español) - springs from a group of professionals with a long career in research into written language and its practical application. Created in 2005, it mainly focuses on the study of written language acquisition and development and its associated difficulties (dyslexia, reading and writing disabilities). It also focuses on the transference of these studies to the field of psycho-educational assessment, diagnostic, and intervention and, overall, to the improvement of education.
