HUM-811: Asiatic studies research group
The group was created in 2005 with the aim of making the Asiatic world better known, above all China and Japan.
The group is responsible for the creation, at national level, of the Spanish Research Forum on Asia and the Pacific (Foro Español de Investigación sobre Asia-Pacífico) (FEIAP, http://www.ugr.es/~feiap/), and has held three meetings to date in Granada, Valencia and Zaragoza.
Since the 2010-2011 year, it is incorporated as a maior language in the degree course (Grado) of “Modern Languages and their Literatures” of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Granada (http://grados.ugr.es/modernas/).
It has also taken part in the creation and dissemination of the Instituto Confucio of the University of Granada (http://institutoconfucio.ugr.es).
It participates in the Seminar of Asiatic Studies of the University of Granada (http://univex.ugr.es/pages/asiaticos/seminario_de_estudios_asiaticos).
It is responsible for the Andalusian Asian Association (AAA).
