The Educational Policies and Reforms Research Group was formed in 1993 and is currently made up of 12 researchers. Ten of these have studied for their doctorates at the University of Granada and the University of Valencia. The group is based in the Faculty of Education Sciences in the Pedagogy Department of the University of Granada (UGR).

The group’s members are mostly doctors of philosophy and education sciences, and belong to the area of Theory and History of Education. Their activities centre on the study of aspects of educational policy, comparative education, social exclusion and inclusion, education reform and the government of education.
