Abstract: Multifunctional nanostructures that consist in ferritin, characterised because it comprises at least a quantum dot and at least one molecule of a biocompatible polymer both covalently bound to the surface of ferritin. The invention also refers to a method to obtain such nanostructures, as well as its use as drug, and more preferably for cancer diagnosis or contrast agent.
