Assuming sampling in finite populations, the objective of this line is to obtain new methods for the estimation of a proportion based on nonparametric regression, and which take the sampling design into account and have a better performance than alternative methods. Furthermore, the objective of this line is the nonparametric estimation of population parameters associated to qualitative auxiliary variables.
