The Organic Synthesis research group of the University of Granada was formed in 2003, to work on the development of new methods of synthesis and their application to the preparation of natural or non natural organic products of interest.

The main lines of research are as follows:

- Development of new methods of synthesis via radical chemistry catalysed by titanium(III) complexes.

- Hydrogen transfer reactions of water.
