The work in this field is aimed at the presentation of properties and imprecise measurements applied to the processing of imprecise data, both cardinal and arithmetic, and the evaluation of quantified sentences; fuzzy databases; operation of and knowledge acquisition from databases: data, text and web mining; data warehousing of imprecise information; fuzzy description logics for the representation of ontologies; recuperation of information and flexible querying of databases, multimedia data bases and the web.
