Abstract: The present invention relates to an in vitro method of preparing an artificial tissue comprising: (a) adding fibrinogen to a sample of isolated cells; (b) adding an antifibrinolytic agent; (c) adding at least one coagulation factor, a calcium source, thrombin or any combination of the above; (d) adding a polysaccharide composition; (e) adding a composition comprising a collagen-like protein; (f) culturing isolated cells in or on the product resulting from step (e); and (g) inducing nanostructuring of the product resulting from step (f). Likewise, the present invention relates to the artificial tissue obtainable by said method, to its use and to the pharmaceutical composition comprising said tissue.
