This line of research concerns the assessment of nursing staff on knowledge of pain in children and babies admitted to paediatric hospital units, who carry out painful procedures and how to minimise it using non drug therapies, such as maternal milk, 20% sucrose solution and skin to skin contact. Currently, work is being carried out with several Ibero-American countries: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cuba, Argentina, Columbia, Chile, Ecuador, and Bolivia.
