This research group dedicates its activity to examining cerebral, physiological and behavioural mechanisms from taking both harmful and gratifying substances, that an organism may receive, inadvertently or unconsciously, at a given moment.

They have a laboratory with resources capable of detecting and showing, in a maximum period of a week, the harmful or rewarding character of any substances received or consumed by rodents.
