CTS-190: Infant Neuropsicomotor development

This research group was formed on 1st January 1989 to contribute to the knowledge of the role of the pineal gland and the secretion of its main hormone (melatonin) during childhood, both in healthy and in pathological situations.

The group’s main lines of research are as follows:

-          Pineal gland, melatonin and oxidative stress

-          Emotional deprivation and growth retardation syndrome of a non-organic cause

-          Neuropediatrics, neuroendocrinology and epileptic encephalopathies.
