Selection of bacteria with interest in agriculture
The growth promoter activity and antimicrobial properties against phytopathogens are analyzed in the collection of bacteria of the group and in the new isolates obtained by novel culture techniques. Its action against the main phytopathogenic agents is investigated as well as the activities involved in the stimulation of plant growth: production of plant hormones and enzymatic activities. Likewise, in vitro studies are carried out with the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana and in vivo studies with plants of agricultural interest.
