AGR-123 Biotechnology and ecophysiology of crops and plants of ecological interest
The "Biotechnology and Ecophysiology of crops and plants of ecological interest" group, which forms part of the Biotechnology Institute at the University of Granada and the Andalusian Institute of Biotechnology, was created at the first PAI (Andalusian Research Plan) meeting in 1988. It focuses on the study of the characteristics that cereal crops should have to most effectively take advantage of environmental resources in the face of climate change, and to assess their impact on the technological quality of the cereals.
This is an interdisciplinary group in which crop physiology and molecular biology form a whole, together with the collaboration of private companies and other research centres.
