HUM-733: Human philology: Linguistic and literary studies
The group was created in 1995. Its aims are to promote and publicise its members’ contributions to French philology studies in Spain, bearing in mind that only three Universities in Andalusia offered a degree in French philology at that time. Currently, following implementation of the reformed [Grado] degree system, the reformed degree is taught in French philology only in Seville and Granada. Thus the group’s existence continues to have total validity. In the spirit of enriching French studies in Spain and in Andalusia, the department of French philology at Granada University wished to provide against possible shortcomings by creating this group and ensuring that with its inherent diversity it would embrace a broad range of research and studies.
