FQM-292: Stellar evolution and nucleosynthesis

The group's research involves the study of the final phases of stellar evolution and its associated nucleosynthesis from both an observational and theoretical viewpoint. In particular, the group studies the structure, evolution and nucleosynthesis of AGB stars and the physics of the explosion of white dwarfs as thermonuclear supernovae, together with its applications in cosmology. The above aspects are covered within the general framework of the chemical evolution of the Universe.
