The research group investigates the different routes of human exposure to endocrine disruptors in obesity, developing new analytical methodologies for their determination and conducting epidemiological and genetic studies. 

The mission of the research group is to study and correlate the impact of genetic variations with the risk of obesity and neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as to assess dietary exposure to obesogens in overweight or obese individuals. It also aims to raise awareness of the risks posed by these obesogens and help the population, especially children, to prevent exposure to these substances.

The team is multidisciplinary and involves experts from different fields committed to nutrition, who help them to ensure reliable and accurate results.
